Expanding print solutions firm creates six new jobs

A fast-growing print solutions company that has created six new jobs in the last year has expanded into new premises in Redditch, assisted by John Truslove.

The chartered surveyors arranged the deal that saw Kingfisher Office Solutions buy 7 Moons Park, a 3,600 sq ft building on Burnt Meadow Road, from XLB Property for £300,000.

The move comes after John Truslove had sold Kingfisher’s previous 929 sq ft offices at 1 The Oaks on Clews Road for £147,500.

Kingfisher, which supplies and manages economical printing solutions for companies, increased its workforce from nine to 15 in the last year, with two more staff currently being recruited.

Meanwhile, the company has seen its annual revenues shoot up from £100,000 when it launched around ten years ago to around £1.6m today.

Ben Truslove, a director at John Truslove, said: “We’re delighted to have found the right offices for Kingfisher Office Solutions.

“It’s been great to see a local firm enjoying sustained growth and employing local people, and we wish them every success for the future.”

Andrew Frascina, the owner and principal dealer at Kingfisher, started life as a printing engineer 24 year ago before moving into sales and then launching his own company.

He said, “I spotted the need for not only providing printing equipment but also for auditing firms’ usage so that we could plan and manage more economical ways of managing printers and copiers.

“Providing successful solutions means we’ve been growing at a rapid rate in recent years both in terms of customers and staff, and we needed bigger offices.

“We’re pleased with the new base John Truslove found for us at Moons Park and are grateful to them for selling our old offices which helped to fund the move.”

Mr Frascina added:

“Following our move we feel that Kingfisher can really start flying, and we’ll soon be announcing more recruitment plans in 2019.

“I like to employ local people and to train them the way I want them trained to give the best service possible to our customers.

“We have saved millions of pounds for hundreds of companies in the last ten years and hope to continue to help many more customers in the next decade.”
